The Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry (IOCB), located in Prague, Czech Republic, is an institute of scientific basic research with focused areas of expertise in organic chemistry, biochemistry, natural products chemistry, and theoretical chemistry.  More than 15 marketed drugs and other patented products are credited to the IOCB.  Johns Hopkins Drug Discovery (JHDD) and the IOCB have entered into a five-year drug discovery research agreement to co-develop small molecule and peptide drugs for a range of therapeutic indications including neurological diseases, cancer, and gastrointestinal disorders.  JHDD and IOCB have co-founded a compound and have multiple patents and applications together.
